Perform Loop is not a medical service. AI output is only an estimate. No storage, synchronization, export, backup, or recovery process is guaranteed to keep your data complete, consistent, recoverable, or preserved. Keep independent copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using Perform Loop, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Perform Loop for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
“You” means the person using the service. “We,” “us,” “our,” and “Operator” mean Perform Loop. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Perform Loop is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Do not use the service if you are under 18.
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials and devices, and activity under your account. A device-local workspace can be used without an account, but it is not a cloud account and does not automatically follow you to another device or browser.
Tell us promptly if you believe an account or session has been compromised: support@performloop.com
3. What Perform Loop is—and is not
Perform Loop is a general fitness organization tool. It can help you plan exercises, programs and meals; record workouts, nutrition, measurements and photos; and review trends. Features, catalog content, calculations and schedules are informational only.
No medical, dietary or professional advice
Perform Loop is not a healthcare provider, medical device, dietitian, coach, emergency service, diagnosis or treatment plan. The service does not assess whether an exercise, meal, goal or recommendation is safe or appropriate for you. Consult a qualified professional before changing training or nutrition, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, pregnancy, symptoms, dietary restriction or other concern. Stop activity and seek appropriate help if you feel unwell. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.
You remain responsible for your choices, technique, environment, equipment, food safety and interpretation of all information in the service.
4. Optional AI features
Meal-photo analysis and progress insights are optional and start only after the actions and permissions described in our Privacy Policy. Models can hallucinate, misidentify food or images, miss context, produce inconsistent results, and estimate calories, nutrients, physique or trends incorrectly.
AI OUTPUT IS AN UNVERIFIED ESTIMATE, NOT FACT, MEDICAL ADVICE, A DIAGNOSIS, OR A BASIS FOR HIGH-RISK DECISIONS.
Review and correct output before relying on it. Do not submit content you lack the right to use or content about another person without their informed permission.
5. Your content and our limited permission
You retain whatever rights you have in information and media you add to Perform Loop (“User Content”). You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, transform, transmit and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support and improve the service, follow your instructions, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. This permission ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to technical completion, legal obligations and provider backup cycles.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for your User Content and that processing it as described here will not violate another person’s rights or the law. We do not claim ownership of your private fitness records or photos.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- access another person’s account, records, media or sessions;
- probe, bypass or interfere with authentication, ownership checks, rate limits, security controls or service availability;
- upload malware, unlawful content, content that exploits minors, or content that infringes privacy or intellectual-property rights;
- scrape, reverse engineer or automate access except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use Perform Loop to provide medical care, make automated high-risk decisions, or misrepresent AI output as professional advice; or
- use the service in a way that harms people, systems, providers or the lawful operation of Perform Loop.
We may investigate abuse and restrict access when reasonably needed to protect users, the service, providers or others, or to comply with law.
7. Availability, changes and third parties
We may add, change, limit, suspend or discontinue functionality. We do not promise that every feature, platform, locale, model, exercise, template or integration will remain available. Maintenance, connectivity, browser limits, provider outages and changes outside our control can interrupt the service.
Perform Loop relies on third-party services, including cloud infrastructure, identity providers when you select them, and Ollama Cloud when you explicitly use an AI feature. Their own terms and policies may apply to their services. We do not control or warrant third-party systems.
8. Data storage, synchronization and backups
DO NOT USE PERFORM LOOP AS THE SOLE RECORD OF INFORMATION YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE.
Cloud sync, local storage, device caches, offline queues, uploads, downloads, version conflict handling, reconciliation, exports and backups can fail, conflict, be delayed, become unavailable, be corrupted, be reset, or behave differently across devices and browsers. Browser storage can be evicted or limited by the browser or operating system. A lost, damaged, reset or replaced device can make local-only data inaccessible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that data will be accurate, complete, consistent between devices, successfully synchronized, recoverable, available, or preserved for any particular period. Conflict controls, deletion retries, ZIP checkpoints and provider backups are risk-reduction measures—not guarantees of consistency, restoration or preservation.
You are responsible for reviewing records after synchronization or import, maintaining independent backups, protecting exported files, and confirming that important changes actually appear. Exported ZIP archives can contain sensitive plaintext data and media; store or destroy them safely.
9. Deletion, suspension and termination
You may stop using Perform Loop at any time and may request account deletion as described on our Account-deletion page. Account deletion is designed as a retryable operation; it may remain pending while cleanup finishes. Local workspaces, browser data, device caches, downloaded exports and copies you shared elsewhere are separate and may require deletion by you.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or when required by law. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and a chance to address the issue. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits and general terms—will survive.
10. Disclaimers and no warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PERFORM LOOP, ITS CONTENT AND ALL RELATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY.
We specifically disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, reliability and data preservation. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every device, free of harmful components, or that defects or lost data can be corrected or recovered. We do not warrant any fitness, health, nutrition, body-composition or other outcome.
Some jurisdictions do not allow particular warranty exclusions, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OPPORTUNITIES OR GOODWILL; PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM YOUR TRAINING OR NUTRITION CHOICES; OR LOSS, CORRUPTION, INCONSISTENCY, DISCLOSURE OR INABILITY TO RECOVER DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH HARM WAS POSSIBLE.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to Perform Loop will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other non-waivable rights.
You are responsible for losses caused by your unlawful use, your material breach of these Terms, or content you had no right to submit, to the extent established under applicable law.
12. General terms, changes and contact
Intellectual property
Except for User Content, Perform Loop—including its software, design, branding and curated content—is owned by or licensed to the Operator and protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you only a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service.
Applicable law and disputes
Applicable law and the courts with jurisdiction are determined by mandatory law and the Operator’s legal place of establishment. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or forums that cannot lawfully be waived. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect product, provider, security or legal changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.
Entire agreement and severability
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and us about Perform Loop. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a lawful reorganization, financing or sale, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
